Climbing Mt Kinabalu (Torq) via Ferrata

Introducing Asia’s newest mountain adventure activity – via ferrata climbing at the top of Mt Kinabalu. Come experience mountain climbing like never before!

We believe that there is a young-at-heart and energetic adventurous spirit in everyone, no matter if you are 10, 30, 50 or 70. As long as you have a thirst for adventure, we have an activity for you.

Mountain Torq, the world’s highest and Asia’s first via ferrata located at 3,800m, offers a range of routes designed to match everyone’s ability and endurance. So, what exactly Ferrata means ? A via ferrata (or ‘iron road’ in Italian, plural via ferrate) is a mountain path consisting of a series of rungs, rails and cables embracing the rock face.

I am thinking of going for this ultimate climbing challenge (especially for me since I am one of those who’s afraid of height…extremely afraid). So anyone up for this trip ??? Next year around August 2009. Will confirm it later.
